It’s time for a washable furnace filter
I didn’t bring any peaches to work today, so my apple and kefir for lunch will have to do without their usual peachy complement.
Riding my bike over to the nearby fruit stand, I think I’ll pick up a peach.
Luckily, I think I’ve spotted a water spigot near the beach in this tiny park designated for pets, so I can clean it anywhere I go. At that point, I’ll be able to eat my mini-dinner in its entirety, and everything will be okay again. Today I plan to spend a couple of hours preparing my HVAC system for the summer; once that’s done, my roommate and I will be able to maintain a comfortable temperature in our apartment no matter how hot it gets outside. We have about two months until it gets crazy warm outside, as today is April 20. A friend and I just had a brand new mini split air conditioner installed, and I can’t wait to use it. My heating and air conditioning setup is solid. Because my primary system is so power hungry, I’ve installed a backup in my apartment. The new air conditioning unit is much more effective, and I can use it independently of the system cooling down the rest of the apartment when I am in my office. I’ve done a lot of research to ensure that this is a good idea and will save me money in the long run, so we’ll see what transpires. With my upgraded air conditioning setup and a fresh peach in hand, I’m ready to embrace the summer heat and enjoy a refreshing lunch at the park.
