Lights come on precisely at 6.00 in the morning
The lights in Jack’s office are automated and on a timer. In the morning the lights come on precisely at 7.00 in the morning. The security officers arrive at that time and they can’t be in the dark. At 8.00 the morning, the lights inside the rest of the building are turned on and that includes all of the offices. In the evening, the lights are turned off automatically at 8. Because the lights are on a timer, Jack can’t task later than more than 8 in the evening. Some days he has work that needs to be completed and Jack can’t get it done before the lights go out. That means he has to take his work home with him. It’s a real pain to take his work home, especially when all of his resources are at the office. Jack talked with an electrical company on Tuesday, when the crew was there to add motion sensors in the bathrooms. One of the ladies has been asking for his phone number. Jack used that to get her to deactivate the sensors in his office so he can have lighting later than 8 pm. The lady didn’t want to make the changes, but Jack flashed his smile and his eyes, and also handed over his phone number. They have a date to get supper at his number one seafood eating establishment. They’re supposed to meet next Tuesday. Jack will not stand the lady up. It’s nice to meet a lady who is handy with electrical work. All the ones that he usually dates are boring girls that wear a suit to work every day.
