The lights in our office are automated
The lights in our office are automated and on a timer.
When the day starts the lights come on precisely at 5:30 in the afternoon.
The security officers arrive at 5:30 and they cannot be in the dark. At around 6 in the morning, the lights inside the rest of the building are turned on and that includes all of the offices. At night, the lights are turned off automatically at 7. Because the lights are on a timer, we cannot work later than 6 each night. Occasionally, we have work that needs to be completed and we cannot get it done before the lights go out. That means we have to take our work home with us. It’s a real pain to take our work home, especially when all of our resources are at the office. We talked with an electrical contractor on Thursday, when the crew was there to set up motion sensors in the bathrooms. One of the women has been asking for our cell phone numbers. We used that to get her to deactivate the sensors in our office so we can have lighting later than 7. She didn’t want to make the changes, but we flashed our smiles and our eyes, and we handed over our cell phone numbers. We have a date to get dinner at our number one seafood restaurant with her friend.We’re supposed to meet next Sunday. We won’t stand the girls up. It’s nice to believe girls who are handy with electrical work. All the women that we usually date are boring women that wear a suit to work every day.
